From January 8-26th, SHAPE students (Student Health Ambassadors and Peer Educators) passionate about health promotion will be challenging the student population to explore health from a holistic perspective.
By organizing yoga sessions and collaborating with other on-campus initiatives, we aim to engage students in wellness-based activities for a healthy start to 2018.
As part of the challenge, we will be having yoga instructors teaching free classes daily from 4:30-5:30pm. Yoga classes will be held in Hodges 104 in the Residence Hub Mondays -Thursdays & Saturdays and at the Interfaith Chapel Fridays & Sundays on campus.
***HOWEVER, ON WEDNESDAY JAN 24TH, YOGA WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE INTERFAITH CHAPEL***
Check the Facebook page here before the yoga class each day for any potential updates/changes.
This challenge is supported by generous donations of time and materials from Boulder House Climbing, Heart in Hand, Crag-X Bouldering Gym, Lululemon, Whole Foods, Moksana Yoga Centre, Alive Mindbody, Fierce Heart Yoga Therapeutics, Iyengar Yoga Centre, Yoga in Motion, Shelbourne Physiotherapy Pilates & Rehab Studio, and Soul Yoga.
