The Victoria Arion Male Choir Welcome New Members

The Victoria Arion Male Choir is one of the newest choirs in Victoria, BC. In the summer of 2018, the Arion Male Voice Choir (founded 1892) and the Victoria Male Voice Choir (1907) chose to unite into a new choir. The two choirs came to the realization that they could better fulfill their dreams of being “a community of men singing for health and joy” as one group rather than two. It is an exciting new venture which is already proving to be a great success both musically and organizationally.
Our musical director, Sean Lampard-Quicke, joined us in 2020 and our collaborative pianist, Jennifer Mitchell joined the choir in 2019.
We are actively seeking new singers for our non-audition choir starting in September 2024, with open houses on Monday September, 9th, 16 and 23th. The choir sings four-part harmony and our repertoire covers classical, spiritual, folk, and contemporary music. We meet Mondays at 7:00 pm at Cordova Bay United Church, 813 Claremont Ave.. We also are looking for choral scholars.
