PEOPLE’S MOU DAY OF ACTION – JUNE 25

The federal government’s recent MOU with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith opens the door to a new tar sands pipeline and signals a dangerous rollback of climate commitments and environmental protections. With plans for a west coast pipeline route potentially moving ahead as early as July 1, this is a critical moment to speak out.

Join people across Canada in delivering a People’s MOU to their MPs, urging them to protect our communities, climate, and future—not provide more handouts to the fossil fuel industry.

Two actions are planned in Victoria:

• 10:00 a.m. – MP Stephanie McLean’s office, 50 Burnside Road West
• 12:00 p.m. – MP Will Greaves’ office, 852 Fort Street
