Emily is an innovative contemporary harpist, vocalist, violinist and electronic loop artist based in Tasmania, Australia.
She delights in subverting expectations-venturing beyond the traditional harp repertoire while still weaving in touches of the familiar. Unconfined by genre, Emily moves fluidly between contemporary covers, jazz, folk and original compositions. From Metallica and Radiohead to Etta James and Loreena McKennitt, she invites audiences to arrive with an open mind and leave their assumptions at the door for a night of relaxed entertainment. The concert will be in two halves with an interval and opportunity for questions. There will also be a chance to win an original artwork by Emily on the night!
