Creatively United for the Planet was honoured to take part in a recent Summit on Peace & Social Justice outdoors at the Victoria Legislature lawns.
Dozens of affiliated groups were represented, fabulous presentations were made, and a number of leading peace and social justice elder activists were honoured, including Saul and Penny Arbus of the Canadian Peace Initiative and Sheila Flood of the Greater Victoria Peace School, as well as many others, some posthumously.
A big shout out of thanks to Tim and Doone Watson and the many volunteers who helped organize this important public event.
