Carl Lowenberger, entomologist extraordinaire, will talk about which mosquito species exist in BC, why they bite people, their contribution to our local ecosystem, and concerns regarding tropical mosquitoes moving north to BC due to climate change.
And why some people seem to be mosquito magnets .. and how to repel them!
Carl is a Professor Emeritus at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby.
