As a new step in Metchosin’s response to concerns with subdivision of the Metchosin Wilderness Camp, community members have initiated a Go Fund Me campaign, to assist in bringing professional legal knowledge in the practice area of non-profit and charity law, into the public discussion. More details on the background and proposal in the link below.
Please check out the fund-raising campaign site at: https://www.gofundme.com/keepitwildforkids-campaign
If you are able to support the site with a donation of any amount – THANK YOU – It will be received with gratitude.
(And If you do donate, please note that you must deliberately select “Other” and then “zero” for the tip amount to Go Fund Me, unless you wish the site to add a default tip amount of 12.5%, over and above their transaction fee amount)
We wish to express our gratitude to community leaders who have lent their names to endorse the kick-off of this campaign and to community residents Thomas Homer-Dixon and Sarah Wolfe, for their very generous “kick start” donation.
