Join us in Stoneridge Wetland Park, View Royal on Saturday August 24th from 9:45am – 1:00pm or for as long as you like!
We will be removing invasive plants such as parrot feather and Himalayan blackberry from this beautiful wetland area in View Royal! As a wetland, this park provides integral habitats for a diversity of plants and animals, so protecting this area is important!
Come learn with us! It will be a fun day of hands-on environmental stewardship with lots of opportunity to learn about this unique area!
It’s a great opportunity to meet new people, learn about environmental issues and increase biodiversity. 🙂
Everyone is welcome! No experience needed; instructions, gloves, tools, and tasty snacks are provided!
Please bring rain boots if you have them!
MEETING SPOT
Meet at the entrance to the park at the end of Stoneridge Place (off of Watkiss Way)
