The Creatively United for the Planet Society submitted a letter of support recommending that the City of Victoria endorse this regional vision for caring, low-carbon communities after COVID. We further recommended that the Council endorse the need for a thoughtful long-term strategy for its implementation together with an appropriate governance structure to the CRD Board to ensure its effective implementation on a regional wide basis.
We hope to see other municipalities adopt the Common Vision/Common Action recommendations and follow the City of Victoria’s leadership.
