The more I follow the good things which are being done by various highly focused and well intended groups and individuals in BC and all of Canada, including – but not limited to the Creatively United, it is obvious that there is NO FOCUS ON OVERALL TARGETS for our country. I see no-one putting together a full picture of our eco-load on the environment, the level of sustainability of our life, let alone social justice and equitability here in Canada.

It looks like the richest/biggest companies and government are having a hay day, doing what looks best to them, spreading fear together with the big pharma and starting to increase power grabs by determining what people are allowed to do and not. Sadly, thanks to the high level of censorship and the biggest money owning all official media, we are acting on a self-serving agenda of the wealthiest with the endorsement of our governments This is also true for most other countries on earth.

The unique thing is that for once I am of same opinion with Gwyn Morgan on something:

It does not make any sense to carbon tax the Canadian economy by itself whilst buying increasingly more from China (thanks to cheaper prices) when we DO NOT TAX the highly unsustainable ways that the Chinese products are made – the least sustainable of them all!!!

I see only one solution: we must put equal pricing to all the CO2 created as part of the Chinese products as we decide to charge ourselves for operations within Canada! For Chinese products this includes all of the sources of energy (including Canadian exports of energy to China), to manufacture the vast majority of products in China, associated local CO2 when manufacturing them, as well as transportation and distribution of Chinese products worldwide.

I believe that today it is conveniently forgotten how much CO2 is caused by international transportation across the oceans. When outside the country borders, NO-ONE accounts for the biggest part of ocean transportation CO2, not the sending country nor the receiving country.

If we do not change this rapidly, China will continue to overtake the dominance in this world in every aspect of our lives! They are acting at many levels very cleverly to achieve world domination, which is a whole separate discussion.

We must merge or coordinate all the good efforts by today’s many groups in Canada into a total picture of what we are doing today within Canada and establish what we wish to do and how we wish to work and live 10 years from now. Planning the road from here to 10 years from now, we need to plot steps to reach our target. Anything done in bits and pieces – as appears to be the case today – only results in freedom for the government and the wealthiest companies to continue to do what they feel is best – whilst only looking at one small area at a time.

Our country has slid away from democracy, increasingly towards totalitarian control by the biggest party governing the country together with the biggest industry – not quite as bad as the US, but not far from it.

It is even unclear to me whether we end up sliding to extreme communist left wing or fascist right wing control at this point in time! It makes little difference which extreme takes over, both have been historically devastating for the overall population and literally criminal by their nature of associated governance.

How to stop what is going on now is the biggest issue since the Second World War, except that this time, it truly is global.
