Just a quick reminder – before heading out to vote on Monday, September 20th – please check if any of your candidates signed on to the list on our “Candidates Who Care About Canadians’ Health” webpage: https://c4st.org/candidateswhocare/
Please consider this when you cast your ballot.
By signing on, candidates agreed to support full implementation of the recommendations of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Health (HESA) report entitled Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Radiation and the Health of Canadians. The report received all-party support and was tabled by the Conservative (2015) and Liberal (2016) majority governments.
What we need now, urgently, is political will and action in Parliament that will achieve the changes required to provide Canadians with necessary protection from the harmful effects of wireless radiation such as from cell phones, Wi-Fi and cell towers. Full implementation of the 12 HESA recommendations will be a big step in the right direction.
