On November 19, 2020, the Climate Action Program presented an update to Victoria City Council on the progress made to meet our emissions reduction targets and advance the actions outlined in the Climate Leadership Plan which was released in July 2018. Climate-Friendly Homes – Heat Pump Incentive
The weather has cooled and many of us are spending more time at home, which means higher energy use to keep our homes warm and comfortable. If you are looking for ways to make your home more climate-friendly in 2021, there are several limited time offers and resources to improve your home’s energy efficiency, save on energy bills, and reduce your home’s greenhouse gas emissions.
When you switch to a heat pump from an oil or gas heating system, you can get DOUBLE THE REBATE in addition to municipal top-ups. Registration is required – you must register for a promo code in order to qualify for this incentive. You can register at BetterHomesBC.ca/Rebates/Double-the-Rebate.
