161st Victoria Highland Games and Celtic Festival

You’ll be spoiled for choice at this year’s Highland Games. From pipe bands and international drum major performances, to Scottish Highland dancing, to the thrill of seeing athletes from around the world compete in the Men’s and Women’s Heavy Event Championships, including the caber toss and hammer throw, there’s something for everyone. Walk through the Scottish Clan and genealogy tents and check out historic military displays. Enjoy some of the best Scottish and Celtic musicians and bands in the entertainment tent along with food and beverages, wine tasting seminars and a single malt whisky school (early reservations recommended). There’s fun for the whole family including kid’s activities, falconry and more. Tickets can be purchased in advance at eventbrite.ca, the Strathcona Hotel and at the gate. Kids 12 and under get free admission.
