This month is the fifth anniversary of the deadly 2021 Heat Dome. Here in Victoria there will be a Commemoration event on Sunday, June 28th beginning at 2 p.m. at the breakwater at Ogden Point. This event is also the launch for Vancouver Island members of the newly forming BC Heat Collaborative. In preparation, we’ll be making paper fans at a workshop on Tuesday June 23rd. Please stop by and lend a hand! Drop in as you can and do what you can. No previous skill or experience necessary and all materials will be provided.
