The countdown is over! AfriCa Fest Victoria returns for its 13th Edition from June 4–7, 2026, bringing four unforgettable days of music, culture, food, workshops, and community celebration to Ship Point in Victoria’s beautiful Inner Harbour.
This year’s festival marks an exciting milestone as AfriCa Fest moves to Ship Point for the first time after twelve successful years at Centennial Square. The new waterfront location offers a stunning backdrop for one of British Columbia’s most vibrant multicultural celebrations.
More Than a Festival
AfriCa Fest is more than a festival—it is a cultural immersive experience.
Rooted in African and Afro-Caribbean cultures, AfriCa Fest creates a welcoming space where people from all backgrounds can come together to discover, celebrate, and share cultures through music, dance, food, storytelling, workshops, and artistic expression.
While Africa and the Caribbean remain at the heart of the festival, communities from around the world are invited to participate, perform, and engage in meaningful intercultural exchange. This unique approach makes AfriCa Fest a truly multicultural event grounded in African values of hospitality, community, unity, and sharing.
