Ancestral Voices and Songs about Nature

A stirring and inspirational recital by renowned mezzo soprano Marion Newman and collaborative pianist Robert Holliston. The concert will highlight the beauty of nature, the interconnection of all living things, as well as the need for reconciliation and environmental and societal equity with the performance of Bramwell Tovey’s song cycle Ancestral Voices, written for Marion Newman and first performed in 2017.
