CAMAS DAY

Friends of Uplands Park presents the annual CAMAS DAY Celebration on Sunday May 5 from 12 noon to 3pm.  Enjoy the displays of about 15 environmental  organizations, listen to the soft rock music of Ron Carter and the Bald Eagles Band, munch on refreshments, participate in family activities, win a prize and go for a Wildflower Walk with experts Matt Fairbarns and Wylie Thomas.  Last year over 400 people participated and loved the social connection while honouring the volunteer restoration of the globally endangered Garry Oak Ecosystem.  Free for everyone!
