The intention of this session is to gather and dream together about Climate Justice and Planetary Health. It is an opportunity to inquire and co-create positive ideas and pathways. We are open to have visions towards a meaningful cultural exchange between Mexico and Canada.
As a community, we share struggles, resources, and visions; together, we can come up with questions about Planetary Health and the current Environmental Injustices. Matty’s Phd community-based project is seeking to strengthen community engagement as we co-develop research questions, define priorities and identify art mediums to use in the future endeavours. We are open to have visions towards a meaningful cultural exchange between Mexico and Canada in the context of Planetary Health.
As we share dreaming spaces and opportunities for clear collective visions, we do it by recognizing Indigenous Worldviews and Arts-based paradigms as our compass guiding our ideas and spirits in this inquiry journey.
We will have two amazing co-facilitators.
Everyone connected to Global Pax Collective can attend. —- Additional community members interested in topics related to planetary health, climate justice, Indigenous worldviews, and arts-based paradigms linkages are welcome to participate.
This activity will be hosted at the Centre for Global Studies, University of Victoria, 3800 Finnerty Rd, Victoria, BC V8P 5C2, Canada.
We thank the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions (PICS) for contributing to this event.
