25 facilitators offering creative sessions, to help a young nursing student escape persecution in Afghanistan and come to Canada through the Rainbow Refugee Pathway. Participation in the sessions is by donation, and Registration is Now Open!
In these times of chaotic intensity, gathering together in creative collectives of response is life-affirming and possible. Creativity for Liberation is a Fundraiser with a powerful intention, held over 3 days: Feb 16, Mar 8, and Mar 30th.
25 experienced practitioners are offering creative sessions through dance movement, vocal improv, art making, digital art, poetry, somatics, meditation, play, & mixed modality expressive arts sessions.
This is a potent spark for Liberation:100% of the proceeds raised from these 3 days of creativity will help a young being – “Elias” (pseudonym) – escape life-threatening persecution in Afghanistan and immigrate to Canada through the Rainbow Refugee pathway.
Would you like to join us as a participant in this collective creative response to suffering, and join in to some of these beautiful sessions?
Would you help us create this magic by sharing about this event through your networks to invite others to join in this cauldron of transformative magic?
The suggested donation to participate is $25 Canadian per class. Registration is now open for Feb 16 (Mar 8 and Mar 30 registration will open soon).
More about the backstory of this fundraiser can be found here.
If each class has 25 people attending through a $25 donation, we can raise… $15,625. This amount would bring us about halfway to our fundraising requirement to be able to collectively create the bridge to safety for my friend Elias.
