Vocalist Angela Verbrugge brings her warm, captivating style to our brand new baby grand, joined by pianist Tony Genge. Angela has established herself as one of the West Coast’s most compelling jazz vocalists, winning the 2020 JazzTimes Readers’ Poll for Best Female Vocalist.
Explore the varied restaurant menu featuring local and high quality ingredients.
Lighter fare on offer includes Canadian duck confit poutine to vegetable dumplings, charcuterie, house made guacamole, creative salads such as arugula, yellow beet and goat cheese.
Main courses include gluten free options…. Dishes on offer include GULF ISLANDS SEAFOOD BOWL, BEEF TENDERLOIN, FRASER VALLEY PORK CHEEK and HOKKAIDO SCALLOPS, SLOW-BRAISED ROSEMARY-INFUSED LAMB SHANK. PRAWN PUTTANESCA, not to mention the VEGAN BOWL AND RAVIOLI ARE GREAT OPTIONS for plant based diners in your group.
A native of Vancouver, Tony Genge is one of Canada’s leading jazz pianists. His cool and swinging style references the great jazz piano tradition of Ahmad Jamal, Red Garland, and Wynton Kelly. Tony is also a respected composer and educator with a Ph.D. in composition.
