Dog Walk for Wolves

Join us in Victoria on International Wolf Day for a dog walk with a purpose – Come and learn more about the importance of BC wolves and the threats they face.
Hosted by Pacific Wild, this free, family-friendly event explores the existing link between dogs and their closest living relatives.
Meet us at the Cameron Bandshell in Beacon Hill Park with your pup (or just yourself!) for pre-walk activities such as a wolf howl competition with a fun prize for the winner, a photo booth for you and your furry friends, a sign making station to show your support for the conservation of B.C. wolves, and an information booth where you can learn more about the B.C. wolf cull.
We will walk together at 6:15pm from Beacon Hill Park to the Legislative Fountain for a group photo, including a quick stop at the Victoria Centennial Fountain to visit the Bronze Wolf statue.
Bring your dog. Learn about his or her wild K9 cousin. Wolves hold ecosystems together — and right now, they’re being killed by government programs and under-regulated hunting and trapping. One walk at a time, our community of dog lovers can help change that.
