Icefields on the Edge Photo Exhibition

This year countries around the world are celebrating the magnificent mantle of glaciers that adorn the high places of the earth. These fragile white giants are succumbing to a heating climate and their disappearance affects us all.

Sam Baardman is an Artist in Residence with the United Nations International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation. This show features glacier photography from Iceland, Alaska and Canada as well as photos from a nearby glacial lake that some of you might recognize.

About Sam Baardman:

Baardman is a wilderness and environmental photographer living in Winnipeg, Canada. He is a founding member of the River on the Run artist collective, whose work investigates the increasingly fragile relationship between humans and their habitats.
