Pie Making Workshop

Learn how to make a delicious apple pie in this hands-on 3-hour workshop! Each participant will make a pie from scratch to take home and enjoy. 🥧

Taking advantage of peak apple season, this workshop features fruit rescued through our Fruit Tree Project. Many of our local heritage apples are exceptional baking apples—while they may not be as tasty eaten fresh, they lend themselves beautifully to being baked into a pie.

You’ll learn the fundamentals of pastry making, how to weave a beautiful lattice crust, and how to perfectly balance the spices and sweetness of your filling. You’ll leave with your own freshly made pie, along with a copy of the recipe to recreate it at home.
