Our one hour seminars focus on nourishing yourself with food during the third trimester, labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, feeding, and menstrual cycle health. Led by Meagan McKinney, a holistic nutritionist, we will explore vital minerals, protein needs, balancing blood sugar, hydration tips, meal prep support, snacks for labour, and understanding the right diet for preparation and recovery. Postpartum support and therapeutics can begin at any time in your pregnancy, and up to 5 years postpartum or while feeding. With these strategies and therapeutic practices in place, you will have the tools to feel empowered and confident in your postpartum healing and supporting your cycle and hormones beyond postpartum.
Meagan’s approach to nutrition is to bring approachable and realistic foods or meals to the table (pun intended) especially for busy parents! Nourishment is about what will bring you comfort, grounding, and enjoyment so that you have the energy and capacity to take care of yourself and your family. Our postpartum seminar includes digital handouts for foods for the third trimester, postpartum pantry checklist, freezer prep, and postpartum themes for recovery. It is recommended to bring your partner or support for meal prep tips and support you in the kitchen.
