Born and raised on Cortes Island, David Ellingsen’s work reflects upon the dramatic changes human activity is forcing upon on the eco-systems of the Pacific Northwest, and the world at large. Using techniques old and new, his projects make a contribution to the archive of activism woven into photographic history. Join David as he speaks with compassion and humour to his process, his motives, and the burden of ecological anxiety shared by so many.
