Royal Oak Crematorium Talk and Tour

Nestled in the rolling grounds of Royal Oak Burial Park (ROBP), the crematorium is the oldest on Vancouver Island. Inside the chapel, staff will explain its history and how the cremation process takes place. Then we will go behind the scenes into the working part of the building where the retorts and other equipment are located. We will have a chance to see the existing retorts and also the new ones that are replacing them. Meet at the crematorium. Drive through the ROBP gates at 4673 Falaise Road and follow the signs. Parking is available on the road near the crematorium.
