Saanich Gulf islands All Candidates Meeting

For the Riding of Saanich-Gulf Islands

The Saanich Inlet Protection Society is sponsoring an all candidates meeting on the afternoon of Saturday, April 19th, at the Cedar Room (the main hall) of the Saanichton Fairgrounds. Doors will open at 1:00 PM, the formal meeting will start at 1:30 and end at 3:30

This is not a meeting about the Inlet. SIPS is doing this because there seems to be no other such meeting in the area. Candidates will have 5 minutes each for a presentation (total 25 minutes), then there will be 75 minutes for responses to written questions from the audience, followed by 2 minutes each for closing remarks. Paper and pencils will be provided for questions to be written, or attendees can bring prepared questions. Questions to be put to the candidates will be chosen first on the number of questions about a topic, then questions to be put to all the candidates, then interesting questions to an individual candidate. (There may or may not be time for the last category.) Admission by donation.
