Drummer/vocalist Kelby MacNayr leads and All Star band through the swinging music of classic jazz for the holidays with a sensational band!
A renowned drummer MacNayr has performed across Canada in the US with leading musicians from a McDougall to Louise Rose, from Terrell Stafford to George Colligan, John Clayton to Campbell Ryga. A deep love and respect for the magic of the music is taken MacNayr to learn the art form from some of the greatest living masters, including Drummer’s, Jeff Hamilton, Alan Jones and Joe, Barbara and vocalists Louise Rose, Marion Cowings and Barbara Blair.
In this special eddition of MacNayr’s Tiny Rhythm Kings, we feature special guest trombonist Brad Shigeta (Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Lionel Hampton Big Bands), renowned Australian trumpeter Simon Stribling and clarinetist extraordinaire Al Pease and the swinging elder statesman of jazz Dr. Tony Genge on the Hammond B3 organ!
