Saxe Point Park regeneration

Come and have fun helping to remove ivy, blackberry and a few other non-native invasive plants that are smothering the park. Doing so will allow the native plants to re-establish and thrive, restoring the natural ecosystem.

This is a volunteer effort promoted by Esquimalt Parks and Recreation under their Branch Out initiative.

Saxe Point Park is at the bottom of Fraser Street in Esquimalt. Meet in front of the washroom block, circled in red on the map below.

Pre-requirement:

Esquimalt Parks and Recreation requires that all volunteers must complete and sign a waiver as well as attend a brief orientation session about working in the park.
