Young trumpeter Owen Chow has become a favourite at Tuesday Night Jazz at the Church both through his participation in the Young Artist Series and also has a special guest with diverse groups including visiting artists Kate Wyatt, Adrian Vedady and Traditional Jazz great Lloyd Arntzen
For this special presentation, Owen brings together four renowned young musicians to explore his enigmatic original compositions. Drawing inspiration from contemporary and traditional musical influences, Owen brings his creative imagination and love of improvising together in a set of beautiful new works for jazz quartet.
Featuring musicians from Vancouver, Qualicum Beach and Victoria, this promises to be a wonderful evening of music!
Featuring rising star pianist Ben Sigerson from Vancouver, bassist John Mossie, drummer Kelby MacNayr with Owen Chow at the helm.
Admission by donation ($20 suggested but all are welcome!)
