Unceded: Understanding British Columbia’s Colonial Past and Why It Matters Now

Greetings!

I invite you to join the West Coast Climate Action Network’s Lunch ’n Learn with George Abbott, a past BC Treaty Commissioner and former Liberal MLA and cabinet minister.

Friday November 20, 12-1pm: Unceded: Understanding British Columbia’s Colonial Past and Why It Matters Now

His book Unceded: Understanding British Columbia’s Colonial Past and Why It Matters Now is a compelling history of the BC government’s difficult and frequently abusive relationship with Indigenous peoples. For all of us who live in BC, it is a history that matters. We invite you to join us on Zoom as George shares his learning and his experience.  Free. By Zoom
