I am excited to invite you all to this One Year Anniversary & Ceremonial Celebration. This will be a momentous occasion; a time of unity and possibility. By coming from the city a valuable heartfelt connection will be made.
It would be wonderful if we could create a glorious convoy from the cities showing our big hearts and supportive presence. Everybody’s face lights up at Fairy Creek when the Shuttle Bus arrives.
The Fairy Creek Shuttle Buses will be available for everyone by donation suggested $30; this would save the number of cars driving.. It is also a lot more fun to chat on the way.
Buses can be socially distanced with passengers wearing masks and sanitizer is used when boarding. Also individual groups can book a bus for themselves only. For example last week ”The Elders For Ancient Forest’ booked their own bus and only allowed those who were double vaccinated to ride the bus; otherwise a mask had to be worn. Please let me know your preference.
We usually stop at “The Garage Cafe & Bakery”in Duncan, for coffee, pastries & to pick up lunch and a bathroom break. The Cafe is alway very happy to see us Fairy Creek Supporters!!
We then usually stop on the way very briefly to visit one of the largest and magnificent Sitka Spruce; a truly humbling and magical experience.
We then arrive at Fairy Creek for the Day’s activities.
To secure an individual place on a regular Fairy Creek Shuttle Bus; please email me with your name and make your donation by Interac e transfer, by cheque or cash.
To secure a bus for a group please let me know what you want with your preferred pick up points for your group. Individuals in your group can then either make a donation directly by Interac e transfer, by cheque or cash to me OR you may collect payment from your group and make one collective payment.
Also I would like to say that the Fairy Creek Shuttle Bus is always free of charge for any Frontline Tree Defenders. It also shuttles essential food, clothing & camping donations. If anyone would like to donate we are happy to pick up and deliver and if anyone would like to donate money to the free service for Frontline Tree defenders any donations are most welcome; the buses are currently funded by a line of credit until I have time to fundraise.
Finally, I would like to share this beautiful video straight from a Frontline Tree Sitter named Mo
Much love to all!!
