We are organizing a luxury tour bus which has a washroom for Saturday’s event; there is plenty of luggage space to accommodate bikes, camping gear and supplies etc. Please let your friends know that the bus can pick up donations at the pick up points.
The cost is $20 each way or by donation.
The bus will return the same day and I anticipate this will be leaving Fairy Creek around 4pm.
People can choose to stay and camp for as long as they want; I believe that they desperately need more hands on people to help with the smooth running and to share the load.
If people do want to camp there will be return buses on Tuesday and Thursday next week.
We are currently finalizing the Saturday schedule from Victoria with the times but here are the pick up points on the way.
– BC MUSEUM – 8 am for loading / depart 8:30 am
– UPTOWN – 8:45 am
– SOOKE – 9:30 am
– FAIRY CREEK 11 am
Please let your group know that we can arrange a bus pick up anywhere on the Island and we can meet ferries; we just need numbers so we can book the right bus to match the numbers.
