Rainbow Eyes Needs our Financial Help
Legal Aid is not covering all of Rainbow Eyes’ legal fees for the appeal of her criminal contempt sentence — $7,000 is outstanding. Appeal results come next week, April 9. We know we asked for funds as a special request in March to support completing the film Guardians: Rainbow Eyes’ Story. Thank you if you donated to that appeal. Please consider supporting her again: e-transfer your donation to angiedee86@gmail.com and specify “Rainbow Eyes’ legal fees” in the message to recipient.

Submit your Views to the BC Timber Sales Review Panel by April 15!

The Ministry of Forests has struck a panel to review BCTS — needed big time! It is critical that conservation-minded individuals and groups flood the BCTS review panel with clear messaging to hear other perspectives than those of industry. These submissions will be part of the public record. More detail here.

For more explanation and bullet points to help craft your message on how BCTS is failing us, scroll down to BC Timber Sales is Broken – And Under Review.

Email your thoughts by Tuesday, April 15, to BCTS.Review@gov.bc.ca.
