A lot has happened in our community in the past few years: entire mountainsides clearcut and blasted, residents unable to adequately access council meetings during the pandemic, residents of Danbrook, and Tri-way mobile home park displaced, all in the pursuit of unchecked growth and profit.

In the uphill battle for our voices to be heard, a new group has been started where residents from all over Langford are uniting for a change in the way it’s governed. It’s critical to start advocating for change now in advance of the 2022 elections.

Please consider joining the Facebook group to show your support for this new community- where we, the residents of Langford, will determine its future. It’s the most important thing you can do right now to protect what’s left of our local greenspaces and create real, lasting change in our communities.
