Join Elders for Ancient Trees on a bus trip to the Nanaimo courthouse on April 4th to show solidarity for Land Defender, Rainbow Eyes, and old-growth forests. Meet people from Nanaimo, Cowichan, Duncan, Comox and Saltspring Island.
For those coming from the Victoria area, the bus will start loading at the Royal BC Museum at 7:30 a.m., followed by pick up from three locations—Uptown, Langford and at a park-and-ride north of Duncan—before arriving at the Nanaimo courthouse.Cost is on a sliding scale, $20 – $50, depending on numbers. No one will be turned away. Bring your own lunch or a dish to share, and your own dishes/cutlery. If you have previously signed up to go by car, please reconsider and join us on the Bus!!

April 4 Itinerary: bus times & locations 
7:15 a.m. – Bus arrives at RBC Museum (RBCM), Belleville at Government
7:30 –  Leave downtown Victoria RBCM at 730 sharp!
7:40 –  Pick up near Uptown mall – bus stop at Carey Rd/Ravine Way
8:00 –  Pick up at Tim Hortons, Langford (park around the west/back). 2890 Westshore Parkway at Amy Rd., just off Highway 1 before Goldstream
8:55 –  Pick up at Cowichan Park and Ride on the Highway, north of Duncan, Herd Rd, off the Trans Canada on Hwy 18
9:40 –  Arrive at Nanaimo Provincial Courthouse, 35 Front St, Nanaimo
4:00 pm –  RETURN: Leave Nanaimo Provincial Courthouse
5:10 –  Cowichan Park and Ride
6:00 –  Tim Horton’s, Langford
6:15 –  Uptown mall
6:25 –  Downtown Victoria
