Giki Zero invites Canadians to join them in setting the Guinness World Records title for the most people pledging climate action in one month!

Creatively United supports this Guinness Book of Records Climate Action endeavour led by Jo Hand of Giki Zero, one of our webinar guests in this program on Energy, Housing & Transportation Matters.

To set the record, 140,001 people need to commit to take climate action. Every person taking a step via Giki Zero between now and July 17th will count towards this effort, and if we are successful, every person that takes a Step will get a Climate Hero/Guinness World Record Holder badge for their social media profiles.

And there’s more! Sacha Dench, UN Ambassador for Migratory Species will embark on her own record-breaking expedition to fly around Britain in a green electricity powered paramotor. She’ll stop along the way sharing stories, meeting change-makers, and inspiring citizens to take action themselves. Giki Zero will share updates throughout her journey that you can follow here.

Giki is working with Count Us In to set a new World Record for the number of people taking action on climate change. To be part of the attempt (and if we get it, become a World Record holder!), people need to take a step through Giki Zero.

Giki is a Social Enterprise and our mission is to help people live sustainably. All of the team members work at Giki because they want to help people cut carbon emissions everywhere! Giki is supported by amazing specialists and experts from the academic, scientific, education and business communities.
