Happy Lunar New Year ! Let’s spread good fortune and support Asian-owned businesses, Asian artists and BIPOC organizations in 2022 
Hi there 
My name is Ella and I am the social media coordinator for CU 
I am half-Korean and my step family is Chinese, so I am lucky to usually have two lunar new year celebrations every year 
Unfortunately, like many of you the pandemic has prevented me from spending time with my family this year, so I wanted to find another way to celebrate my community!
Here is a list of some of my favourite Asian-owned businesses, Asian artists and BIPOC-led and focused organizations to support, mostly local to so-called “Victoria” and “Vancouver” 
The list of organizations is more broadly including the BIPOC community because it is important we stand in solidarity and that our work is always intersectional
