This November marks the 4th anniversary since Madame Justice of the BC Supreme Court gave the Ecoforestry Institute Society the right to buy Wildwood, keeping it in the public domain forever.

We could not have done it without your unwavering support, your generous donations and your love and hard work. It took hundreds of people three years and a big pot of money to get this done.

We have conducted timber harvests, compiled an impressive educational program, restored the Homestead, built an accessible washroom, hosted international delegations, made a whole lot of friends here and around the world and demonstrated the worth of the ecoforestry model. It creates jobs and revenue all within the community and we thank you for your ongoing support.

We’re just building up steam, so watch for new developments in the coming months!
Thank you, everyone!

Wildwood Ecoforest, located on Vancouver Island, is a stellar example of ecoforestry. Harvested since 1945, Wildwood retains full forest ecosystems and offers accommodation and event opportunities. See https://www.ecoforestry.ca/ for more info.
