Wild pollinators such as butterflies and bees are crucial to human survival. Climate change and widespread pesticide use are compromising their habitat and food sources. The David Suzuki Foundation’s Butterflyway Project encourages to people to step up and help our pollinators find food and shelter.

251 new people volunteered to become Butterflyway Rangers this spring, and took part in an online training. They committed to grow a Butterflyway where they live. The Rangers are now seeking new volunteers. You don’t need experience – just bring your enthusiasm and an interest in bees, butterflies and wildflowers.
