Climate and environmental groups across Greater Victoria and BC have prepared surveys for 2026 local election candidates that will appear on a new “Vote4Tomorrow” web site.
Vote4Tomorrow.ca is an independent, non-partisan election guide showing where local candidates stand on climate and environmental policies. Topics include: Buildings, Ecosystems, Watersheds, Transport, Land Use, Climate Justice, and Zero Waste.
Candidate responses are displayed directly on the survey website, so their policy commitments are clear and unfiltered, and interests specific to each municipality are highlighted. Surveys are customized to each community’s needs.
Goals are to:
- Empower community groups across British Columbia to educate and engage with candidates;
- Inform the public of each candidate’s position on climate and environmental policies;
- Get out the vote!
Candidates received their surveys on Sept. 15th. The survey results are currently being uploaded to the Vote4Tomorrow.ca website which will be released to the public and go live on October 1st.
