WHAT IS COP28?

COP is attended by industry stakeholders, politicians, researchers and scholars, Indigenous stakeholders, NGOs and other members of civil society. However, these groups are not given the same representation and privileges at COP events and negotiations.

This year’s title is COP28: Climate Action Can’t Wait, but what does that actually mean? What is the current state of the climate?
