Esquimalt Muncipal All-Candidates Event Recording

Creatively United for the Planet Society, the Gorge Waterway Action Society, Esquimalt Climate Organizers (ECO) and Esquimalt United Church’s Social Justice Team hosted a Municipal All-Candidates event on Monday, October 5th to an overflow crowd at Esquimalt United Church. Municipal Voting Day is Saturday, October 17th in the Esquimalt Recreation Centre Gym (527 Fraser St).
Be sure to also vote for an Esquimalt representative for School Trustee, regardless of whether you have school-age children or not. This is the first time that Esquimalt residents can vote for an Esquimalt School District trustee. Your vote for the School District Trustee is important to ensure that resources are allocated fairly across the
District. Two candidates are running to represent Esquimalt on the School Board. Gwynn Butchart and Andrew Gage.

Stay tuned to learn about a Provincial Candidates Meeting for the riding of Esquimalt-Colwood (includes Vic West + View Royal) will be held from 7-9 pm either Tuesday, October 13th or Thursday, October 15th live on Zoom. It will also be recorded and the Zoom link made available as soon as we receive confirmation as to which of the two dates is confirmed. Sidney Coles of the Green Party and Sid Tobias of the CentreBC Party have confirmed their presence. The NDP and Conservative candidates have not yet responded to the request. Stay tuned.
